Senior Business Analyst (Banking)

• Act as the communication bridge between business stakeholders, product owners, and technology teams
• Analyze current business operations and gather requirements for system enhancements or digital transformation initiatives
• Prepare detailed business and functional documentation for new features, process improvements, and application changes
• Ensure product features and user stories align closely with business goals and customer value
• Partner with Product Owners to manage backlog refinement, prioritization, estimation, and sprint planning activities
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Architects, Designers, and Agile teams to clarify and refine requirements throughout the delivery lifecycle
• Facilitate workshops, requirement discussions, and Agile ceremonies with cross-functional stakeholders
• Support developers, engineers, and UX teams by clarifying business requirements and expected outcomes
• Translate complex business needs into actionable epics, user stories, and sprint objectives
• Contribute to change delivery initiatives from discovery phase through implementation and operational rollout

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of experience working as a Senior Business Analyst in digital transformation or enterprise environments
• Strong understanding of banking products, financial systems, and operational workflows
• Proven experience working within Agile delivery models and cross-functional Scrum teams
• Ability to communicate product direction and business vision effectively to stakeholders and delivery teams
• Hands-on experience in backlog management, story elaboration, sprint planning, and Agile ceremonies
• Familiarity with API concepts and system integration design
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities
• Experience facilitating workshops and requirement sessions across both business and technical teams
• Ability to quickly understand technical architectures and business system dependencies
• Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills
• Comfortable working in fast-paced and ambiguous environments
• Knowledge or experience in Customer Onboarding, AML, or Financial Crime domains is an advantage
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or related fields; postgraduate qualifications are a plus
• Fluent in English communication skills, both verbal and written
