Mô tả công việc

  • Develop, establish, and consistently refine QA procedures, initiatives, and operations
  • Identify and implement fresh tools and automation possibilities
  • Communicate test strategies, risk management, and mitigation plans to project managers, technical leaders, epic leaders, and stakeholders
  • Define quality standards and risks for each release
  • Participate in analyzing trends in live issues and contribute to issue resolution planning
  • Conduct regular one-on-one sessions with direct reports, offering clear feedback and assistance
  • Assist in the orientation and training of new QA personnel
  • Oversee and automate testing endeavors, manage bug reports, and collaborate with developers and Customer Service for seamless and high-quality user experiences
  • Take charge of the QA process for all web and mobile app submissions and current releases, encompassing bug report management and proactive functionality testing
  • Craft detailed test cases, scripts, release notes, and other technical documentation based on specifications and tickets
  • Automate testing when suitable to prevent regressions
  • Serve as secondary support to investigate and replicate escalated customer inquiries from Customer Service
  • Effectively liaise with Customer Service, internal developers, other internal QA resources, and external development agencies/vendors concerning bugs, fixes, and releases
  • Continuously monitor and enhance the QA process to boost efficiency and efficacy

Requirements:

  • Over 5 years of experience in managing software testing in a live operations setting with a sophisticated tech stack encompassing ERP/Odoo, Mobile, Web, Cloud Native, and Middleware API components with external integrations
  • Proficiency in tracking sprint metrics (bug burndown, defect escape rates, etc.) and monitoring metrics (crash rates, ANR rates, etc.)
  • Skilled in generating testing resources, such as documentation of best practices, and advocating effective testing strategies to enhance quality
  • Experienced in collaborating within cross-functional teams
  • Familiarity with engaging outsourced QA vendors and overseeing offshore and/or remote QA teams
  • Demonstrated ability to utilize data for making quality-oriented decisions
  • Developing detailed test cases, scripts, release notes, and other technical documentation based on specifications and tickets
  • Implementing automation in testing where suitable to prevent regressions
  • Achieving quality standards set by the team
  • Providing secondary support to review and replicate escalated customer inquiries from Customer Service
  • Effective communication with Customer Service, internal developers, other internal QA resources, and external development agencies/vendors regarding bugs, fixes, and releases
  • Continuously monitoring and enhancing the QA process for improved efficiency and effectiveness
  • Proficient in manual and automated QA testing methodologies for web and applications, particularly Selenium
  • Understanding of software development life cycles (SDLC) and QA's role within them
  • Experience with Selenium or similar testing automation frameworks
  • Competence in cross-device testing, both physical and virtual (Browserstack)
  • Proficiency with Atlassian products (Jira/Confluence) or similar project management/bug-tracking tools
  • Knowledge of continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines is advantageous
