Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic QA Team Leader to join our team and lead our QA efforts for our SaaS project focused on Cloud Networking. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of leadership experience and be responsible for managing a team of QA engineers, ensuring the quality of our cloud networking solutions, and driving continuous improvement in our testing processes.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality testing deliverables.
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for cloud networking solutions.
- Oversee the execution of manual and automated testing to ensure the quality of the product.
- Identify, document, and track bugs and issues to resolution.
- Collaborate with development, product management, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and provide feedback.
- Conduct performance, security, and scalability testing.
- Utilize network tracing tools and traffic generators to analyze network performance.
- Monitor and manage network infrastructure using SNMP, SFLOW, and NetFlow.
- Ensure compliance with security protocols and standards.
- Drive continuous improvement in testing processes and methodologies.
Skillset Required:
- Leadership Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a leadership role, managing and mentoring QA teams.
- Networking Protocols: Hands-on experience with VLAN, IP, STP, TCP, UDP, VRRP, OSPF, BGP, MPLS, IS-IS, SPBM.
- Enterprise Wireless LAN Network: Experience with testing wireless LAN networks.
- Security Concepts and Protocols: Hands-on experience with AAA framework (Authentication, Authorization, Accounting), 802.1X, Captive portal, VPN.
- Scripting Knowledge: Proficiency in scripting languages such as Java, Python, ROBOT, Perl, or TCL/TK.
- UI Test Automation: Experience using tools like Selenium or Playwright.
- Network Management and Monitoring: Knowledge of SNMP, SFLOW, NetFlow.
- Network Security and Management: Experience with Net-login, AAA, IPsec, Firewalls, SSL, SNMP MIB.
- Cloud Environments: Experience with AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
- Docker Containerization: Deep understanding of Docker and clustering solutions.
- Virtualization and Hypervisor: Knowledge of ESX, Hyper-V.
- Installation and Configuration: Experience with DHCP, DNS, SSH, RADIUS, LDAP, IPsec, CA.
- Network Tracing Tools: Hands-on experience with tools like Wireshark, Ethereal, or TCPDUMP.
- Traffic Generators: Good exposure with tools like Ixia or Spirent.
- Linux OS: Proficiency in Linux operating systems.
- Analytical and Communication Skills: Strong analytical and communication skills.

- CompTIA A+ and Security+ certification.
- CWNA and CWSP certification.
- Cloud practitioner certification on any one of (AWS, GCP, and Azure).
