Job Responsibilities

• Develop and implement fuel procurement strategies (wood residues, timber) in various provinces
• Build and maintain relationships with suppliers (small-scale factories, traders, etc.)
• Develop and execute sales strategies for agency development
• Conduct sales activities (new client acquisition, contract negotiations)
• Manage team (guidance and training of staff)
• Market research (competitor status, price trends)
• Ensure smooth communication and information sharing across departments
• Perform other tasks as instructed by superiors

Requirements

Mandatory

• Communication skills in Japanese or English
• Ability to work on-site (including travel and stays in provinces)
• Flexibility and ability to work effectively in the field

Preferred

• Extensive experience in the wood industry (procurement, sales, etc.) and/or strong network within the wood industry
• Over 5 years of experience in purchasing or sales
• Over 3 years of managerial experience (team leader or manager)
