JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Project Manager at Rice, you will oversee project lifecycles, and work with the Creative and Design Directors to create the space for the creative team to work with clarity and confidence, allowing the studio to perform at the highest level. Your responsibilities include managing project timelines, budgets, and workflows, coordinating with suppliers, and ensuring alignment between clients and the creative team throughout the course of a project.

RESPONSIBILITIES

— Coordinate and create alignment amongst the team;

— Communicate with clients on processes, timing and finances;

— Generate new business;

— Generate new business within existing contexts by enlightening teams to rice’s wide expertise;

— Support management to create Scopes of Work;

— Oversee and maintain project budgets;

— Support finance team with contracts and invoices;

— Provide weekly project and time tracking status to Creative Directors;

— Organize project information on the management system;

— Keep meetings effective, record, and assign actions;

— Develop and maintain a blossoming understanding of rice’s process and how to explain it and how to build upon it;

— Support the creative team with insights and translations. 

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

— 5+ years of management experience;

— Experience or interest in branding and graphic design is a plus;

— Organized, resourceful, proactive, curious and a team player;

— Proficient in accounting/management software including Google products, Keynote, or similar;

— A great communicator, strong presentation and interpersonal skills;

— Proficiency in English, both spoken and written;

— Capacity to work both independently and within teams;

— A thinker with a desire to challenge, and empower those around you;

— Fundamental understanding of project management, budget and deadlines;

— Culturally engaged and perpetually curious about the world.
