- Responsible for researching and developing new products that comply with food safety regulations/labeling as per current laws (both domestic and for export).
- Responsible for improving formulations and production processes for existing products.
Research and Development of New Products
- Develop and establish formulas, research plans, and key characteristics of new products to meet the company’s NPD requirements.
- Implement new product formulas and production processes for mass production across relevant departments and factories.
- Manage and issue technical documentation/specifications (BOM, production process, product specifications) and related regulations for new products.
- Ensure the use of additives/labeling information complies with legal requirements.
- Collaborate with the Marketing team for external sensory testing of products (if necessary).
- Identify and develop new raw material sources for new products.
Improvement of Formulas and Processes for Existing Products
- Update information on competitive products in the market.
- Develop improvements for current product formulas/processes aligned with the company’s development strategy.
- Search for and evaluate alternative raw material sources to prevent supply disruptions.
Provide Information for Export Products Draft and supply documents and technical data related to production formulas for export projects.
Job Requirements:
Educational Qualifications (one of the following):
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Food Technology from University of Technology (Bach Khoa University) or International University (part of Vietnam National University).
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Food Technology from an overseas university.
Experience:
- At least 5 years of experience in an R&D position within the Dairy/Food/Beverage industry.
- Experience with OEM (domestic or international market).
Language Skills:
- Proficiency in English (all four skills).
- TOEIC score above 780 or
- IELTS score of 6.5 or higher.
