PHP Developer (WordPress)

The candidates will be responsible for developing software applications using WordPress technologies including:

• Build and maintain websites on WordPress and Shopify.
• Take advantages it the 2 platform’s (WordPress and Shopify) themes, plugins and other tools to boost their conversion rates
• Update website functions per request from company director.

A University Qualification in Software Engineering or a related degree,

Must have:

• PHP, MySQL, HTML5, SASS, jQuery
• GIT & GIT workflows
• CMS: Building WordPress custom themes using ACF or Gutenberg blocks
• E-commerce: Building WooCommerce custom themes
• Ability to integrate with 3rd party APIs ( REST, SOAP, JSON-RPC and XML-RPC)

Nice to have:

• Gulp, NPM / Yarn
• AWS: Lambda, API Gateway, Dynamo DB
• Laravel, Gatsby, React, AngularJS, or Vue.js
• MAMP
• Headless CMS: Prismic / Contentful etc
• Shopify (build custom themes / adapting existing / creating templates and CMS’d sections)
• Scripted / Automated testing experience
