With a solid foundation in specialty chemicals, we are actively expanding our footprint in Southeast Asia, particularly in Vietnam – one of the fastest-growing chemical markets in the region.
Our product portfolio includes high-performance materials widely used in coatings, adhesives, textiles, paper, environmental applications, and pharmaceutical intermediates.
Key Responsibilities
1. Market Development & Business Expansion
- Identify, develop, and expand business opportunities in the Vietnam market across key segments: coatings, adhesives, textiles, paper, environmental, and API intermediates
- Conduct in-depth market analysis to understand customer needs, industry trends, and competitive landscape
- Formulate and execute sales strategies aligned with company growth targets
2. Distributor & Key Account Management
- Build and manage a strong distributor network to ensure effective market penetration
- Develop and maintain long-term relationships with key accounts, including multinational and local manufacturers
- Negotiate commercial terms, contracts, and pricing strategies
3. Technical Sales & Solution Consulting
- Provide technical consultation to customers, including product selection, formulation optimization, and substitution solutions
- Collaborate with R&D teams to tailor solutions based on customer requirements
- Support troubleshooting and technical problem-solving during product application
4. Project Management (End-to-End Sales Cycle)
- Manage customer projects from initial sampling, testing, and validation to mass production and commercialization
- Coordinate closely with internal teams (R&D, production, logistics) to ensure smooth project execution
- Track project progress and ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction
5. Market Intelligence & Product Development Support
- Collect and analyze market feedback, competitor insights, and emerging trends
- Provide strategic input for new product development and localization
- Support product validation and go-to-market strategies in Vietnam
Requirements
Education & Background
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related fields
Experience
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in chemical sales, business development, or technical service
- Proven track record in B2B sales within the chemical industry
Technical Expertise
- Strong understanding of at least one of the following sectors: coatings, adhesives, textiles, paper, environmental chemicals, or pharmaceutical intermediates
- Experience with specialty chemicals such as PEI, imidazole, crosslinkers is a strong advantage
Skills & Competencies
- Strong commercial mindset combined with technical understanding
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills
- Ability to manage complex sales cycles and multiple stakeholders
- Self-driven, proactive, and results-oriented
Language
- Fluent in English (both written and spoken)
