Job Summary

We are looking for a Japanese Speaking QC Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of software products by designing and executing test activities while working closely with developers, project managers, and Japanese clients. If you have a passion for quality assurance, strong Japanese communication skills, and an eye for detail, we’d love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

● Analyze project requirements and create comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.

● Execute manual testing for web, mobile, and backend applications.

● Identify, document, track, and verify software defects.

● Collaborate with developers, Business Analysts, and Project Managers to resolve issues efficiently.

● Communicate with Japanese clients to clarify requirements and report testing progress

when necessary.

● Perform regression, functional, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT).

● Ensure product quality before each release.

● Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and testing standards.

Requirements

Must-have

● At least 2 years of experience in Software Quality Control (QC) or Software Testing.

● Japanese language proficiency of JLPT N3 or above with good communication skills.

● Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, test case design, and defect lifecycle.

● Experience testing web and/or mobile applications.

● Familiar with bug tracking and project management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or

similar.

● Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.

● Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team.

Preferred Qualifications

● Experience working on AI, Machine Learning, or Generative AI projects.

● Experience in Agile/Scrum development environments.

● Knowledge of API testing using tools such as Postman.

● Experience with test automation is a plus.

Interview process: 2 rounds (online/ offline). Preferred offline interview.

Salary: 30-35M gross
