Job overview and Responsibility

DevOps Engineer will be part of a fast-growing team of engineers to support infrastructure and deployment projects for a German client. You will work within an Agile SCRUM methodology to build, maintain, and optimize our cloud environments.

This project enables companies to seamlessly integrate insurance into their offerings. Thanks to diverse interfaces, insurance solutions can be quickly and easily integrated into the product landscapes of companies. Through the platform, all administrative processes from closing to claims processing are automated, and personal service is directly available to partners and customers. With individual, cloud-based insurance solutions, this project provides the product that suits every company.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve our cloud systems and infrastructure.
• Help the team get software updates out to our customers reliably.
• Monitor our systems and fix issues when they pop up.
• Support the team’s testing process to make sure our releases are stable.
• Work closely with your team, share regular updates, and provide task completion estimates.
• Report directly to the Team Leader and stay current with new tech.

Must-Haves

• 4+ years of professional experience in DevOps/Cloud engineering.
• Fluent English communication skills.
• Proficiency in AWS (EKS, VPC, EC2, RDS, S3, IAM, MSK) and Terraform.
• Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes (EKS), Helm, ArgoCD, and GitHub Actions, Datadog
• Strong problem-solving skills and experience working in an Agile environment.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Kafka or Redpanda.
• Secrets management (HashiCorp Vault, External Secrets Operator).
• Networking & Ingress (Traefik/NGINX, Cert-manager, External DNS).
• Observability (Datadog, Grafana).
• Identity Management (Okta).
• Experience working with foreign companies, in particular Australia/Germany.
• Experience in fintech, insurance technology, payments, or banking integrations.
• Familiar with Microservices/Microfrontend architectures.

Interview: 3 online rounds (English Interview with HR – Tech interview with VN team – Tech interview with client)
