Role Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and optimize software applications using C++, focusing on performance and scalability.
• Engage in all phases of the software development lifecycle, from design to deployment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Troubleshoot, test, and maintain the core product software to ensure strong functionality and optimization.
• Recommend improvements to existing software programs as necessary.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Language Proficiency: Fluent in English or German (only one required).
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in C++ (familiarity with core concepts more critical than knowledge of the latest standards), strong understanding of algorithms.
• Experience: Open to all levels, from fresh graduates to professionals with 10+ years in the field.
• Education:
• For EU candidates, A degree in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• For non-EU candidates, a technical university degree (bachelor’s or higher) or 3 years of proven IT experience is necessary for visa purposes.

• Relocation package:

• Besides this, we do not have a set package. Instead of a one-fits-all package, we speak directly to the candidate about their needs. We do not say no if it is a reasonable request.
• If the candidate has a family, we suggest that they first move to Berlin alone and then, when they are more confident in wanting to stay, move the rest of the family.
