Business Analyst (Japanese N1/N2)

Act as a bridge between Japanese clients and Vietnamese engineers in application and web service development projects.

The PM mainly manages the development. BAs are required to have the ability to create specifications, communicate specifications to PMs and engineers, and communicate and coordinate with clients in Japanese.

Main business contents

• Build good relationships with clients in Japanese
• Scrutinize requirements from clients and propose specifications to clients
• Writing specifications in Japanese or English
• Explanation of understood specifications to Vietnamese engineers
• Q&A between client ⇔ BA and BA ⇔ engineer
• Project progress (client control) for team members to work efficiently
• Project schedule creation and progress management (PM assistance)

A BA's daily schedule

• 8:00 Slack message/email check/schedule confirmation
• 8:30 Progress meeting with team members
• *Many teams hold a 10-15 minute stand-up meeting called "Asakai"!
• Summarize the progress confirmed at the 9:00 meeting and share it with the client on Slack
• 10:00 Receive a request from the client to add new functions to the app and to conduct a technical survey, and have a video call with the client to fill in the requirements.
• 12:00〜13:30 Lunch break
• 14:00 Summarize requirements for adding new functions and deploy to team members on Slack
• 15:00 Meeting about the contents of the survey request
• 16:00 Report to the client via Slack
• 17:30 Finish

Requirement:

• Be able to converse logically in Japanese
• Able to read and write Japanese sentences using a computer
• Ability to fulfill duties without running away even in a tough environment
• Able to work in teams

Skills/Experience:

• Have been involved in the development of apps and web services
• Know the app and web service development process
• Experience in coordinating with Japanese clients
• Some problem-solving and proposal experience
• Have leadership
• Can manage time
• Passed Japanese Language Proficiency Test N1 or N2
• Experience in nurturing juniors
