Summary
We are looking for a Business Analyst who can work closely with clients to gather and clarify requirements, translate them into clear documentation, and support the development team throughout the project lifecycle. The ideal candidate has strong analytical and communication skills, solid understanding of SDLC, and at least 2 years of BA experience in a client-facing environment. This role requires proactive problem-solving, accuracy in requirements management, and the ability to contribute effectively to complex projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather business and system requirements from clients.
- Assist clients in defining requirements, suggesting ideas, and proposing solutions.
- Clarify any unclear information about business requirements with stakeholders.
- Analyze, synthesize, and document requirements using charts, diagrams, URD, and SRS.
- Design application mock-ups or wireframes using prototyping tools.
- Assess feasibility of requests considering constraints.
- Work with QC to ensure all requirements, including change requests, are implemented and traceable.
- Train project team members and stakeholders to understand the business context.
- Suggest new features or improvements for software solutions.
- Take lead BA role in large/complex projects (team size > 10).
- Complete tasks on time and maintain high quality to minimize defects and rework.
- Perform other tasks as requested by Project Manager or Senior BA.
Job Qualifications
1. Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Information Management, or Business Administration.
2. Knowledge & Skills
- Strong English communication skills (equivalent to IELTS 6.0).
- Solid understanding of software engineering and SDLC.
- Experience in software analysis, testing, and requirement validation is a plus.
- Proficient in tools for requirement management (e.g., UML, Mindmap, Trello, Jira, Mantis, Redmine).
- Good business process modeling skills.
- Ability to write clear and comprehensive URD/SRS documents.
- Understanding of BABOK® Knowledge Areas is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving, consulting, and teamwork skills.
- Effective communication, mentoring, and negotiation with stakeholders.
3. Experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Business Analyst in client-facing roles.
