Backend Developer – API development

The ideal candidate will possess the following key requirements:

• Be able to analyses, design, code, test, document and implement new applications or enhancements to existing systems
• Assess the impact of change requests, and develop solutions and mitigation strategies
• Apply project design, system developments and maintenance methodologies
• Design and develop API platform to connect to various disparate backend systems
• Planning, design, development, testing, and delivery of API
• Implement common APIs based on architecture guidelines and framework related to logging, authentication, security, error recovery etc.
• Interpret business requirements and provide systems/technical documentation
• Share knowledge and information with the team and assist others in priorities team meeting
• Provide ongoing production support to our customers.
• Investigate production issues, locate root cause, and apply the appropriate fixes or change requests and documentation etc.

Technical attributes:

• From 3 to 8 years of experience in .Net development in C#
• Strong technical skills in ASP.NET, Web API, MVC, or other .NET frameworks and .NET development tools.
• Strong in using & implement API integration through web services.
• Working experience with Microsoft SQL Server, and SQL queries.
• Ability to participate in code reviews and be able to work autonomously.
• Intermediate English level (Minimum B1 CEFR)

Additional attributes (preferred not required):

• Experience in other technology languages (e.g.: Typescript, HTML5, CSS3 etc.)
• Experience in the CI/CD process for API automated deployment
• Working knowledge or experience in ERP-type systems
• Working knowledge or experience in Accounting or Retail POS systems
• Experience with workflow-based systems
• Experience with Agile Development methodologies
• Experience in Win Forms is a plus
