We are looking for a highly skilled Security Analyst who specializes in binary code and malware analysis. The ideal candidate will have expertise in using tools like IDA or IDA Pro disassemblers and have a deep understanding of security vulnerabilities associated with binary code. This role involves analyzing and understanding complex data structures and algorithms derived solely from binary code, making it a challenging and intellectually stimulating position.

Responsibilities:

• Perform detailed binary code and malware analysis.
• Utilize IDA or IDA Pro to dissect and examine binary structures.
• Identify and analyze security vulnerabilities within binary code.
• Develop and maintain expertise in data structures and algorithms relevant to binary analysis.
• Design and implement custom hooks into Office and Windows binaries for software customization.
• Adapt to changes in code patterns due to updates in Office and Windows, ensuring robust integration of our products.
• Employ innovative problem-solving techniques to achieve desired software customizations in a "zen-like" manner, balancing vast information and quickly identifying viable approaches.

Requirements:

• Language: Fluent in English.
• Working Experience:
• Proficient in binary code analysis and malware assessment.
• Experienced with IDA and/or IDA Pro disassemblers.
• Thorough understanding of security vulnerabilities.
• Advanced knowledge of data structures and algorithms from a binary perspective.
• Education:
• For EU citizens: No restrictions.
• For non-EU citizens: A technical university degree (Bachelor’s or higher) or at least 3 years of documented IT experience (necessary for visa purposes).

• The office location is in the middle of Berlin,
• there is a daily breakfast with fresh bakery products, fruits and vegetables, drinks, and snacks available at the office, 
• There is a shower to use in case someone does sports in between (several of us run or bike to work)
• We organize a summer and a winter party. 
• Offer support for German language courses and welcome small dogs to the office.
• Relocation package:
• For the eligible relocation positions, we provide 1-way tickets for the new employee and their family and 1 month of accommodation with registration in Berlin.
• Besides this, we do not have a set package. Instead of a one-fits-all package, we speak directly to the candidate about their needs. We do not say no if it is a reasonable request.
• If the candidate has a family, we suggest that they first move to Berlin alone and then, when they are more confident in wanting to stay, move the rest of the family.
• We also support a work permit if a candidate needs one.
