Position Overview:

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of bookkeeping principles, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to deliver high-quality financial services to our clients.

Responsibilities:

• Review and verify all supporting documents received from clients to ensure accuracy, and compliance with accounting standards.
• Record all accounting transactions accurately and timely in the accounting software.
• Reconcile key balance sheet accounts (e.g., bank accounts, accounts receivable, accounts payable, accruals).
• Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports as required by clients
• Participate in discussions and provide explanations to auditors regarding figures presented in the financial statements.
• Investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies and issues during the preparation of financial reports.
• Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Prepare payroll reports and process monthly salary payments on behalf of clients.
• Contribute to the improvement of accounting processes, systems, and internal controls to enhance operational efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 1–2 years of relevant experience working in an accounting department or at an accounting practice/firm.
• Proficient in Xero accounting software and Employment Hero payroll system, ability to manage transactions and generate reports accurately.
• Good English communication skills
• Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles, accounting standards (e.g., IFRS), and financial reporting procedures.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate in a team-oriented environment.
• Ability to manage deadlines, multi-task.
• CPA / ACCA certification or currently pursuing is highly desirable.

• Full salary during probation (2-month probation)
