1. Team Leadership & Management:

• Lead, mentor, and support the professional growth of the development team, ensuring optimal performance.
• Oversee daily development activities, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality code.

2. Technical Leadership:

• Define and guide architectural strategies, ensuring solutions are scalable, maintainable, and efficient.
• Serve as a technical advisor, addressing complex challenges and providing hands-on support as needed.
• Conduct thorough code reviews to uphold coding standards, best practices, and maintainable codebases.

3. Product Ownership:

• Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to align development efforts with business goals and product vision.
• Manage the complete product development lifecycle, from gathering requirements to deployment.
• Make critical technical decisions regarding architecture, infrastructure, and technology stack.

4. Agile Project Management:

• Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily standups, to ensure efficient project management and progress tracking.
• Manage project timelines and deliverables, ensuring development cycles are completed on schedule.
• Continuously refine processes to enhance team productivity and deliver high-quality results.

5. Cross-Functional Collaboration:

• Partner with other departments such as product management, design, and QA to deliver integrated and seamless solutions.
• Ensure the team understands the business goals and context behind each feature, fostering a product-driven mindset.

6. DevOps & CI/CD Practices:

• Implement and manage DevOps workflows, optimizing development processes with CI/CD pipelines.
• Equip the team to handle deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of applications in production environments effectively.

Job Requirements:

• Experience:
• Over 7 years of software development experience, including several years in leadership or managerial roles.
• Demonstrated success in leading teams and delivering finance applications.
• In-depth understanding of finance architecture.
• Technical Expertise:
• Extensive experience with both front-end and back-end technologies, such as React and Node.js.
• Proficient in cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong knowledge of database systems like PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or similar.
• Leadership Skills:
• Proven ability to lead and mentor teams, fostering growth and enhancing productivity.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the capacity to make critical decisions under pressure.
• Agile Development: Comprehensive understanding of Agile methodologies, with hands-on experience in managing and refining Agile processes for development teams.
• Communication Skills:
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, enabling effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Proficient in both written and spoken English.
• Preferred Skills and Experiences:
• Experience in technical analysis, solution design, and product development is a plus.
• 3+ years of experience in leadership or managerial roles is highly desirable.
