1. Strategic Planning and Leadership:

• Develop and implement supply chain strategies that align with the company's overall business goals and objectives.
• Provide visionary leadership to the supply chain team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
• Establish and communicate performance metrics to drive operational excellence and continuous improvement.

2. Demand Forecasting and Inventory Management:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather market insights and develop accurate demand forecasts for pharmaceutical products.
• Oversee inventory management, optimizing stock levels to minimize holding costs while ensuring product availability.

3. Procurement and Supplier Management:

• Lead procurement activities to ensure a reliable and cost-effective supply of raw materials, packaging components, and finished products.
• Manage relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts and terms to ensure consistent quality and on-time delivery.

4. Logistics and Distribution:

• Design and manage efficient distribution networks to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products to customers and distribution partners.
• Monitor transportation and warehousing activities, optimizing routes and processes to reduce lead times and costs.

5. Regulatory Compliance:

• Stay current with pharmaceutical industry regulations and ensure supply chain activities adhere to relevant laws and guidelines.
• Collaborate with regulatory affairs teams to ensure seamless product registration and compliance.

6. Process Improvement and Technology Integration:

• Identify opportunities for process optimization and automation within the supply chain, leveraging technology to streamline operations.
• Implement supply chain management systems to enhance visibility, traceability, and data accuracy.

7. Risk Management:

• Proactively identify potential supply chain risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure business continuity.
• Create contingency plans to address potential disruptions and minimize their impact on operations.

8. Cross-Functional Collaboration:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, quality assurance, regulatory affairs, and finance to align supply chain activities with broader business objectives.

9. Budget Management:

• Develop and manage the supply chain budget, tracking expenses and ensuring cost-effective operations.

• Bachelor's or master's degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience (8+ years) in supply chain management within the pharmaceutical industry, with a track record of progressively increasing responsibility.
• Strong leadership skills, with experience in managing and developing teams.
• In-depth understanding of pharmaceutical supply chain processes, including procurement, logistics, demand forecasting, and inventory management.
• Familiarity with relevant regulations and compliance standards in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data for strategic decision-making.
• Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools.
• Fluency in English.
