- Write design/implementation documentation
- Develop and maintain software applications written in C
- Write efficient and maintainable code that meets project requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, QA testers, and product managers.
- Troubleshoot and debug software issues and provide fixes and solutions.
- Pilot new tools/technology.
- Adheres to strict delivery schedules.
- Reports to Project Manager or assigned people manager.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a C development environment.
- Strong knowledge of C programming language and experience with related tools (compilers, debuggers, etc.).
- Experience with software development tools such as Git, JIRA, and continuous integration and deployment tools.
- Good understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design patterns
- Ability to quickly research new technologies
- Work as part of a team, including the ability to develop new working relationships, share knowledge and work with colleagues within the team to meet service standards
- Ability to work independently and proactively are needed.
- Good command of Japanese communication (oral and written)
- Priority will be given to those who have experience in international software development projects.
