• Implementing code for the existing service infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) techniques.
• Enhancing the operation and performance of applications and middleware.
• Building and maintaining networks on cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP.
• Developing and managing automation tools for operations, including Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Establishing and managing a monitoring environment for detecting faults and planning capacity.
• Designing and maintaining security measures for the service infrastructure.

Requirements

Essential Qualifications:

• A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
• Proficiency in Japanese, preferably at N2 level or higher, to facilitate effective communication.
• Fundamental knowledge of networking and security principles.
• Basic understanding of cloud services, particularly AWS and GCP.
• Capability to identify and resolve technical issues related to systems, including performance-related challenges.
• Hands-on experience in designing and managing systems utilizing container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.

Desirable Qualifications:

• Previous experience in operating relational database management systems (RDBMS), including MySQL and RDS, in a production environment.
• Proficiency in designing and managing systems within cloud environments like AWS and GCP.
• Proficiency in designing and maintaining system monitoring solutions using tools like Datadog and Bugsnag.
• Competency in programming to implement features, resolve bugs, and enhance application and middleware performance and reliability.
• Previous involvement in scaling systems in response to service growth.
• Understanding of security best practices.
• Experience in contributing to and publishing open-source software (OSS).
• Proficiency in creating technical content such as technical blogs and presentations.
