Senior Fullstack Engineer (Ruby)

Job Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with Project Leader to analyze client's requirement, create basic and detailed design, build a code structure, code features and servers on Render or AWS and deploy code.
• Rebuild the existing system for clients with the newer version of the technology.
• The main focus is on coding, debugging, improving, and troubleshooting.
• Build high-quality, reusable code that can be used in the future.
• Develop a functional and sustainable Rest API.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in software engineering, computer science, or a relevant field. 
• At least 5 years of experience as a Backend Developer. In there, the candidates must have 2+ years of experience in Backend Developer (Ruby).
• Excellent experience in Ruby on Rails, Unit Test (Rspec), Heroku, AWS, etc.
• Good knowledge of JavaScript frameworks such as ReactJS, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Good understanding of web processing, anything from the browser to the application, Rest API, PostgreSQL, Redis, etc.
• Expect the candidate to have experience with or knowledge of data analysis (data collection and analysis, data processing, or data transformation).
• Proficient in following good principles, design patterns, and best practices.
• Focus on detail, an analytical mind, responsibility, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have:

• Working experience in one of the backend programming languages, such as Node.js, PHP, C#.NET, etc., is a big advantage.
• Working experience with Japanese clients.
