Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain automation tools that streamline operational workflows and enhance engineering productivity, including developing custom components using Node.js or Golang.
• Investigate and resolve complex application and infrastructure issues, involving in-depth debugging and code-level fixes in Node.js and Golang systems.
• Monitor, document, and address technical incidents promptly to ensure minimal service disruption.
• Propose and support architectural and process-level improvements to improve system scalability, resilience, and long-term reliability.
• Enhance existing application components or develop new modules to improve operational efficiency, system scalability, and overall performance.
• Assess, adopt, and integrate new technologies, frameworks, and third-party solutions that align with technical and business objectives.
• Implement industry-leading security practices to protect sensitive systems, services, and data.
• Maintain high availability, stability, and performance across both production and pre-production environments.
• Work closely with engineering, QA, and product teams to ensure infrastructure effectively supports development and delivery requirements.
• Participate in an on-call rotation to support mission-critical systems and ensure continuous service availability.

Requirements

• Professional Experience
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience in DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering roles.
• Strong software engineering background with 5+ years of development experience.
• Technical Expertise
• Advanced working knowledge of AWS cloud services, including compute, container, serverless, networking, identity, and monitoring components.
• Practical experience with infrastructure automation and container orchestration tools such as Terraform and Kubernetes, along with GitOps-based deployment practices.
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals and cloud security standards.
• Proficiency in programming with Go and Node.js.
• Experience designing, operating, or supporting highly available systems with minimal or zero downtime.
• Nice to have
• Prior exposure to banking, financial services, or enterprise IT environments is a strong advantage.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities when dealing with complex, distributed systems.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate across multiple teams.
• Relevant certifications in security, DevOps, or solution architecture are considered a plus.
