Senior Android OS Developer

• Develop and customize core components of the Android OS, including Linux Kernel, Android Framework, System Services, HAL (Hardware Abstraction Layer), and native libraries.
• Work directly with the Android Open Source Project (AOSP).
• Fine-tune and optimize system UI elements such as the System UI, Launcher, and Settings app.
• Analyze logs, debug system issues, measure performance, and ensure system stability and smooth operation.
• Address security vulnerabilities, apply security patches, and support OTA (Over The Air) updates.
• Communicate and report directly to leaders in Vietnam and Canada.

Job requirement

• Strong knowledge of Android OS architecture → In-depth understanding of the full Android stack, from Kernel to Application layer, especially AOSP and native components.
• Proficient in system debugging and optimization → Hands-on experience with log analysis, debugging system issues, performance tuning, and resource optimization.
• Security awareness and system update management → Familiarity with OS-level security practices, patching vulnerabilities, and deploying OTA updates.
• Willingness to research and learn new programming languages and frameworks.
• English (Intermediate level/ or above)
