Partner with the senior research analysts to proactively manage a team of research and consulting professionals, as an effective, well-coordinated and high performing team, coach them continue their professional development and operate at their fullest potential in an inclusive and dynamic team environment.
Demonstrate leadership in defining the strategic direction and ensuring of a range of high-quality research projects, consulting assignments, supporting the teams in handling the assignments by providing essential inputs and guidance from background research, in-depth sector study, insights etc.,
Proactively join Group/Research workshops/webinars and/or press interviews to share in-depth and comprehensive perspectives on the macroeconomics, banking, capital markets, sectors and other significant market trends/events affecting corporates etc.,
Promoting Research as a thought leader in the markets and to stay ahead of other peers
In charge of developing proposals, sector previews, press releases and other marketing materials.
Assist Research Managers and/or Managing Director in developing and implementing the Division’s business plans.
Maintain and develop relationships with local and international clients, local authorities as well as industry experts.
Travel to other provinces or cities, when required.
Undertake other tasks assigned by Research Senior Manager and/or Managing Director

Bachelor’s degree (or above) in economics, business administration, finance.
CFA, ACCA, CPA professional qualifications will be a plus
At least 5 years in market research and/or advisory role working in international or large local investment banking firms, consulting firms or market research companies or a large corporate
Hand-on experience in leading complex research and consulting projects, with evidence of strong strategic planning, prioritization and conflict resolution skills.
Strong leadership skills, logical thinking and data analytics skills with an attention to details
Excellent presentation skills to act as a spokesperson with senior internal and external stakeholders
Good at communication with clients, team, market participants and being able to source appropriate experts/practitioners
Computer literacy, particular with the knowledge of SQL queries, software applications such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint
