QA Engineer (Manual)

• Analyze the project’s requirements and review detailed specifications.
• Develop a comprehensive test plan and create test cases for the assigned project.
• Assess and provide constructive feedback on testing progress and issues.
• Perform tests and communicate the results to key stakeholders.
• Collaborate closely with the project manager to ensure quality standards are met.
• Lead a small QA team in executing the project’s testing phase.
• Report to the team manager and actively participate in mentoring junior members through skill-building activities.

Requirements:

• Hold or be pursuing a BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in web-based or mobile application testing.
• Strong understanding of software testing, including functional, integration, and performance testing.
• Proven experience in creating test plans, test cases, and test reports.
• Excellent analytical skills with a structured, systematic approach to problem-solving.
• Proficiency or experience in API testing.
• Familiarity or experience with database testing.
• Experience or knowledge in automation testing is a plus.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Effective time management, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Capability to coach and mentor junior team members.
• Demonstrates a proactive learning attitude, professionalism, and a strong sense of responsibility.
• Proficient in English; Japanese language skills are a significant advantage.
