Key Responsibilities

• Support the development and production readiness of new products, ensuring all technical requirements are properly implemented for manufacturing
• Interpret, translate, and localize technical drawings and engineering documents to support production teams
• Evaluate product samples, conduct technical assessments, and propose design improvements to enhance quality, manufacturability, and cost efficiency
• Manage and implement engineering changes related to 4M (Man, Machine, Material, Method), ensuring all changes are properly documented and communicated
• Coordinate and handle technical communication with suppliers, including clarifications, issue resolution, and engineering documentation exchange
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams such as Production, Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC), Purchasing, and R&D to ensure alignment on project timelines and product requirements
• Provide technical support during pilot runs, mass production, and issue troubleshooting to ensure stable and efficient operations
• Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action implementation for production and product-related issues
• Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction, and product optimization

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or College diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical/Electronics, Industrial Engineering, or related fields)
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in Product Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a similar role in a production environment
• Ability to read, understand, and translate technical drawings and engineering specifications
• Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes, product development cycles, and engineering change management
• Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive and detail-oriented mindset
• Good communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional environment
• Language proficiency:
• TOEIC score of at least 600, or
• Japanese proficiency equivalent to JLPT N3 or above
• Familiarity with CAD tools, technical documentation, or production systems is a plus
