  • Public Relations Strategy: Develop and execute PR strategies aligned with the company's overall objectives to enhance brand awareness and corporate reputation.
  • Media Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, editors, and media outlets in Vietnam to secure positive media coverage for the company's products and initiatives.
  • Press Releases and Media Materials: Create compelling press releases, media kits, and other media materials to disseminate key company messages to the media.
  • Crisis Communications: Develop crisis communication plans and protocols to effectively manage and respond to any potential PR crises.
  • Thought Leadership: Position key company executives as thought leaders in the pharmaceutical industry by identifying opportunities for speaking engagements, panel discussions, and bylined articles.
  • Digital and Social Media: Oversee the company's social media strategy, including content creation, community management, and reputation monitoring.
  • Event Management: Plan and coordinate PR events, press conferences, product launches, and other promotional activities to maximize media exposure.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Foster positive relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, patient advocacy groups, government officials, and industry associations.
  • Content Creation: Develop high-quality content, including articles, blog posts, and thought leadership pieces, to engage target audiences and showcase the company's expertise.
  • Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor media coverage and PR campaign effectiveness, providing regular reports and insights to internal stakeholders.
  • Compliance and Ethical Conduct: Ensure all PR activities adhere to relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards.

Industry Knowledge:

  • Familiarity with the pharmaceutical industry, its products, and relevant regulations in Vietnam.
  • Understanding of healthcare trends, medical advancements, and public health issues.

Media Relations:

  • Proven experience in building and maintaining strong relationships with journalists, editors, and media outlets in Vietnam.
  • Ability to handle media inquiries, press releases, and interviews effectively.

Communication Skills:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Vietnamese and English.
  • Strong storytelling abilities to craft compelling narratives about the company's products, achievements, and corporate social responsibility efforts.

Crisis Management:

  • Ability to handle and mitigate PR crises that may arise and develop communication strategies to manage negative publicity.

Digital and Social Media:

  • Proficiency in utilizing digital and social media platforms for PR campaigns and engagement with stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of social media trends and online reputation management.

Stakeholder Management:

  • Experience in managing relationships with various stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, patient advocacy groups, government authorities, and industry associations.

Event Management:

  • Skills in organizing and managing PR events, press conferences, product launches, and promotional activities.

Branding and Marketing:

  • Understanding of branding and marketing principles to align PR efforts with the company's overall strategies.

Analytical Skills:

  • Ability to analyze PR campaign effectiveness, media coverage, and public perception through metrics and insights.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

  • Collaborative mindset to work closely with other departments, such as marketing, legal, and regulatory, to ensure consistent messaging and compliance.

Cultural Awareness:

  • Sensitivity to cultural nuances and the ability to tailor PR strategies to the local context in Vietnam.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field. A Master's degree in a relevant field could be advantageous.
  • Previous experience in PR, communications, or marketing roles, preferably within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry. Around 5-7 years of experience is often required for a PR Manager position.
