Network Engineer

• Oversee daily network operations, ensuring peak performance, reliability, and security.
• Assess and incorporate new technologies to enhance network efficiency and dependability.
• Install, configure, and maintain network devices such as routers, proxy servers, switches, WAN accelerators, DNS, and DHCP servers.
• Acquire network equipment and manage third-party contractors for network installations.
• Set up firewalls, routing, and switching configurations to optimize network performance and security.
• Assist in deploying and managing Cisco SD-WAN solutions to improve network traffic management and connectivity.
• Enhance network performance through continuous monitoring, troubleshooting, and scheduled updates.
• Create and validate policies for Zscaler Private Access (ZPA).
• Develop and manage Access Control Lists (ACLs) for switching and routing.
• Configure Palo Alto firewall rules to implement network security policies.
• Set up Cisco wireless solutions to ensure stable connectivity and coverage.
• Manage Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA) and ZPA VPN solutions for secure remote access.
• Implement AAA (Authentication, Authorization, and Accounting), Dot1x, and TACACS+ for secure network access control.
• Report on network status and performance metrics to relevant stakeholders.

Job Requirements

• At least 8 years of experience in network engineering or a related field.
• Solid understanding of network systems, including architecture, routing, switching, firewalls, and security concepts.
• Cisco CCNP certification and Palo Alto PCNSE certification are required.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to clearly convey technical information and work collaboratively with others.
• Ability to efficiently troubleshoot and resolve network issues.
• Eagerness to learn and stay updated with new technologies and approaches.
