JOB OBJECTIVES:
Develop and implement marketing strategies to expand market share in the Energy/Oil & Gas sector, particularly LNG, hydrocarbon, SAF & Hydrogen with Ammonia
Develop relationships with investors, partners, and customers in the LNG or Hydrocarbon sector in Vietnam and internationally to promote bidding opportunities and EPC contract signings.
For the concurrent Deputy Manager position, the role requires strategic business direction and management of important activities related to investment partners.
Job Description:
Marketing & Business Development:
- Analyze Energy/Oil & Gas market trends, competitors, and identify EPC project bidding opportunities in the LNG, hydrocarbon, SAF & Hydrogen with Ammonia sectors
- Develop strategic plans to approach investors, project developers, and international partners.
- Develop and implement marketing strategies appropriate to the goal of expanding market share in the EPC sector.
Developing Partner & Investor Network:
- Establish and maintain relationships with investors, energy investment funds, and partners in the LNG, hydrocarbon, SAF & Hydrogen with Ammonia
- Connect with relevant management agencies and organizations to ensure regulatory compliance and optimize participation opportunities.
- Promote strategic cooperation with equipment suppliers, consulting units, and subcontractors to serve EPC projects.
Negotiation & Contract Handling:
- Prepare and review tender documents, technical and legal terms in EPC contracts to ensure compliance with international standards and optimize company benefits.
- Coordinate closely with departments in Vietnam and Seoul (technical, legal, financial) to develop tender proposals and competitive bidding strategies.
- Participate in the contract review process from a marketing and business development perspective, ensuring that the terms and commitments are clearly expressed and aligned with the company's strategy.
- Participate in the negotiation and signing of EPC contracts with investors and related parties.
- Maintain awareness of project progress and performance after the contract is signed, collaborating with project management to ensure that investor commitments are understood and addressed.
Additional Role for Deputy Manager:
- Provide strategic business direction and manage important activities related to investment partners.
- Coordinate business strategies and participate directly in bidding for major EPC projects.
- Represent the company in meetings with partners, energy industry conferences, or international bidding events.
- Represent the General Director when needed in strategic meetings and important contract negotiations.
- Tasked with managing the daily operations, including streamlining workflows and optimizing resource allocation.
- Propose solutions to improve workflows and enhance company operational efficiency.
- Plan and manage the marketing budget effectively.
- Engaged in activities related to financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and the preparation of financial reports, as well as analyzing financial performance to identify opportunities for cost reduction and revenue growth.
- Maintain good connections with employees, customers, and vendors, proactively addressing concerns and building strong, long-term relationships to enhance stakeholder satisfaction.
Job Requirement:
For Marketing Manager:
Education: University degree in Marketing, Economics, Business Administration, Petroleum Engineering, Energy, or related fields.
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Marketing/Business, preferably in the energy industry or EPC projects.
- Deep understanding of the EPC bidding and contract management process in the hydrocarbon and LNG sectors.
Required: Have relationships with businesses, investors, and organizations in the energy industry in Vietnam and internationally.
Skills:
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and handling complex commercial contracts.
- Understanding of technical, legal, and commercial standards in EPC contracts.
- Fluent English (required) to work directly with foreign colleagues and partners. Candidates with additional Korean language proficiency are preferred.
Additional Requirements for Deputy Manager:
Leadership Experience:
- At least 7 years of experience in Marketing/Business or EPC project management, with at least 5 years in a middle management position.
- Experience leading teams and participating in the management of large-scale EPC projects.
Strategic Partner Network:
- Candidates with direct relationships with investors, LNG suppliers, and units involved in the EPC project chain are preferred.
- Deep understanding of international bidding processes and common EPC contract terms.
Additional Requirements:
- Recruiting, educating, and assessing personnel, with a focus on fostering a high-performance team culture and ensuring compliance with labor regulations.
- Certificates pertaining to business management and project management, including PMP or comparable Vietnamese certifications, are required, and candidates must demonstrate a proven track record of successfully applying these certifications in practical scenarios.
