Introduction

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will work closely with various departments to gather data requirements, analyze business needs, and create insightful reports and dashboards using BI tools. You will be responsible for transforming data into actionable insights to support strategic decision-making and improve overall business performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to understand reporting needs and translate them into actionable insights.
• Develop, maintain, and improve dashboards and reports using BI tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Power BI).
• Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.
• Work closely with the Data Engineering team to optimize data pipelines and ensure data availability for reporting purposes.
• Validate data quality and troubleshoot discrepancies
• Act as a liaison between technical teams and business units to ensure data solutions meet business objectives.
• Conduct training sessions for end-users on how to effectively use BI tools and reports
• Provide actionable recommendations based on data insights to support decision-making
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging BI technologies.
• Identify opportunities to enhance BI processes and tools to improve reporting efficiency

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in a BI Analyst or similar role.
• Proficiency in BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar).
• Advanced knowledge of SQL for data extraction and analysis.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex datasets.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience working with data warehouses and data modeling concepts.

Desired Qualifications

• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS Redshift, Snowflake, Google BigQuery).
• Familiarity with Python or R for data analysis.
• Knowledge of ETL processes and tools.
• Certification in BI tools or data analytics is a plus.
