The GeoTechnologies Leader is responsible for overseeing and leading projects related to geospatial technologies. Here are some key responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of geospatial analysts, GIS specialists, and remote sensing experts.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute geospatial projects, ensuring they meet deadlines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Develop and Implement Geospatial Solutions
• Geospatial Data Analysis and Visualization
• Work closely with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, government agencies, and partners, to understand their geospatial needs and deliver appropriate solutions.
• Provide technical consultation and recommendations to improve operational processes through the use of geospatial technologies.
• Stay updated on the latest trends in geospatial technologies and identify opportunities for innovation within the organization.
• Data Management and Quality Control
• Mentor junior staff and provide training on the use of geospatial tools and processes.
• Develop and present technical/commercial reports, presentations, and proposals to clients or upper management, effectively communicating the value and outcomes of geospatial projects.

Job requirement

***Personal profile

• Strong capability to research and self-learn new technologies and process;
• Minimum 5 years of experience working directly with Geoprocessing/Remote Sensing;
• Have consolidated knowledge in GIS tools (ArcGIS and QGIS), Remote Sensing process (crop monitoring, land use classification, deforestation analysis, etc.) and process automation;
• English is necessary (Level C1-C2). Other languages are welcome (spanish and portuguese preferably);
• Creative and proactive profile for creating new Geo applications in different types of services;
• Aptitude and adaptation for commercial tasks.

Technical skills

• ArcGIS Pro and QGIS;
• ArcGIS Field Apps: Survey 123, Field Maps, Workforce and QuickCapture
• ArcGIS Web tools: Arcgis Online, Experience Builder, Web AppBuilder and StoryMaps.
• Remote Sensing analyzes using different passive (Landsat, Sentinel-2 and Planet) and active (Sentinel-1) sensors;
• Process automation (Model Builder, Python, etc.);
• Creation and structuring of technical/commercial presentations;
