• Play and test games to detect bugs, performance issues, and other errors, ensuring the game functions as intended.
• Review and analyze game design documents to identify testing needs and requirements.
• Create and manage test cases and test scripts to guarantee comprehensive test coverage.
• Log and report bugs with detailed descriptions and clear steps to reproduce them.
• Receive, verify, and reproduce issues reported by users, and handle user feedback from various channels regarding in-game problems.
• Re-test previously reported bugs to confirm they’ve been resolved and ensure no new issues have been introduced during updates.
• Make sure the game complies with platform-specific standards and passes all necessary certification processes.
• Stay up to date with the latest technologies and suggest testing improvements to enhance product quality.

REQUIREMENTS

Knowledge

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related fields
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience or completed training in a related role
• Basic understanding of game development and software testing methodologies
• Familiarity with bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla) and test management systems is a plus
• Previous game testing or QA experience is preferred, but not mandatory
