Embedded Software Lead

• Onsite role in Japan acting as Bridge System Engineer / Embedded Team Leader
• Communicate directly with Japanese clients (meetings, email, technical discussion)
• Analyze and clarify requirements, convert them into offshore development tasks
• Prepare, review, and maintain technical documents (basic design, detailed design, test documents) in Japanese
• Ensure requirement–design–test traceability and manage Q&A with customers
• Perform impact analysis and propose feasible technical solutions under system constraints
• Lead offshore team: planning, task assignment, review, and technical guidance
• Monitor project progress, risks, issues, and report to stakeholders
• Support embedded development and review in C language
• Ensure code quality using MISRA C / CERT C and static analysis tools
• Design and review test cases (unit, integration, system)
• Handle defect analysis and root cause investigation (e.g., 5-Why)
• Work in structured development process (A-SPICE or equivalent)

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Electronics, or related fields
• 3+ years of software engineering experience, including 2+ years in embedded systems
• Strong experience in C programming for embedded development
• Knowledge of MISRA C / CERT C and static analysis tools
• Understanding of structured development processes (A-SPICE or equivalent)
• Experience in requirement analysis, system design, and test case creation
• Ability to handle Japanese technical documents and communicate with clients
• Japanese level N2 or higher (business + technical communication)
• Strong leadership, logical thinking, and attention to detail
• Experience in embedded system projects and team coordination is a plus
