As a key leader, you will oversee a team of up to 5 members, playing a pivotal role in various aspects of our data enablement value stream.

• Establish and promulgate data architecture standards across our application and infrastructure portfolio.
• Develop operational data solutions to fuel our cutting-edge mobile applications for both iOS and Android platforms.
• Analyze systems to support the creation of pioneering Machine Learning models.
• Manage Marketing Tech systems to deliver personalized, real-time, context-aware service and marketing messages to customers.
• Mentor and empower a team of Data Engineers to unlock their full potential.
• Influence the product roadmaps of our Cloud providers to align with our evolving needs.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Minimum 8 years of experience in Data Engineering or a comparable role.
• At least 3 years in a leadership capacity.
• Proficiency in Cloud-based Data Engineering, preferably with one of the major Cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Strong command of GCP, AWS, or Azure technologies, with demonstrable expertise in relevant data services.
• Proven track record in designing and implementing large, intricate data solutions leveraging various architectural patterns such as Microservices.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL and Python.
• Experience with DataOps methodologies.
• Proficiency in DevOps practices, particularly in Cloud data environments, including Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform and GitOps.
• Solid educational background in Information Technology (IT) or Information and Communication Technology (ICT).
• Ability to influence both technical and business stakeholders.
• Leadership experience with a focus on fostering the growth and fulfillment of engineering teams.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• Prior experience in the Marketing domain would be advantageous.
