AUTOMATION QA ENGINEER

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, develop, and maintain automation test frameworks and scripts using programming languages (e.g. Java, JavaScript, Python, C#, etc.)
• Analyze requirements, user stories, and technical documents to create effective automation test strategies
• Build and execute automated test cases for Web / API (and Mobile if applicable)
• Integrate automation tests into CI/CD pipelines
• Review test results, analyze failures, and identify root causes
• Perform manual testing when necessary to support automation and exploratory testing
• Collaborate closely with developers to detect issues early and improve testability
• Actively participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives
• Continuously improve test coverage, code quality, and automation efficiency
• Mentor junior QA/Automation members and provide technical guidance (Senior level)

REQUIREMENTS

• 3+ years of experience in Software Testing & Quality Control with a focus on Automation Testing
• Strong experience in writing automation scripts, not only using record-and-playback tools
• Solid programming knowledge in at least one language: Java / JavaScript / TypeScript / Python / C#
• Hands-on experience with automation frameworks such as:

o Selenium

o Playwright / Cypress / WebDriverIO

o RestAssured / Postman + scripting for API testing

• Good understanding of:

o Testing methodologies & test design techniques o SDLC / Agile–Scrum processes

o Version control systems (Git)

• Ability to analyze, debug, and troubleshoot automation code
• Strong problem-solving mindset and attention to detail
• Good communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
