ASIC Design Lead

• Technically leads an SOC architecture and design team and owns the delivery of a bug free RTL and constraints by working closely with Systems, DV and Back-end teams. Translates system architecture and feature list to chip architecture and micro-architecture. Develops working and synthesizable RTL that meets the chip specifications.
• Participates in creating verification plans by providing inputs to DV team. Actively participates in the debug phase. Works hand-on and owns the design through the full ASIC development phase, until silicon bring-up. Writes and maintains high level architecture spec.

Must have:

• Proficiency in logic design, architecture development and ASIC design implementation
• Expertise in SOC integration, IP integration
• Expertise in RTL implementation in Verilog, System Verilog, VHDL
• Excellent analytical and debugging skills
• Experience in protocols like – AXI, AHB, APB, OCP, DDR/LPDDR, PCIe, USB, Ethernet
• Understanding of PHYs like SERDES PHY, DDR/LPDDR PHYs
• Experience in Low power implementation techniques using UPF, CPF. Able to code power intent and retention and isolation strategies using UPF/CPF.
• Experience in interconnect generation (NOC) and integration
• Expertise in constraint development and implementation
• Expertise in Lint, CDC and Low power static verification

Good to have:

• Experience in integrating ARM processor
• Experience in synthesis and logic equivalence check, support to STA and timing closure.
• Knowledge of DFT implementation – Scan, MBIST, JTAG, BSCAN
• Proficiency in any scripting language like Perl, Python, Shell/Tcl

Experience range – 8- 15 years
