Application Engineer (PHP/Ruby)

• Develop software applications for both internal use and customer projects, primarily using PHP/ Ruby, and MySQL as the main platforms.
• Write clean, efficient, and testable code following the company's coding standards.
• Execute unit tests to ensure code quality and functionality.
• Adhere to coding rules and guidelines.
• Proactively escalate and consult with the leader or senior developer when encountering any problems.
• Participate in meetings using English, and be able to understand and respond to simple issues.

Requirements:

• Develop software applications using PHP and/or Ruby.
• Accurately and thoroughly complete assigned tasks.
• Meet task deadlines consistently.
• Continuously learn and adopt new skills and technologies.
• Capable of implementing designs and enhancing or adding basic functionalities.
• Experienced in working with databases.
• Able to reuse existing features and functions.
• Adheres to established coding standards.
• Understands and can work with key frameworks.
• Can create test cases from spec.
• Testing according to test spec.
