The role will join a global-scale product of our partner GoodData www.gooddata.com - a leading US company which provides a massively scalable, secure & high-performance Insights Platform-as-a-Service for 70,000 businesses, over a million users. Our products are trusted by the Fortune 500 companies. By joining the project, you will have a chance working with processes delivering features from inception to full lifecycle in a modern CI/CD pipeline

• Act as a QA gatekeeper. Bad implemented features should not be leaked to production.
• Define test plan, design tests, coordinate manual testing team. Estimate time required to complete planned testing.
• Design, develop and execute test cases on component/integration and end to end level to ensure product quality. Write and maintain clear, precise bug reports to submit to the bug tracking system.
• Analyze defects and test results to be able to deduct the chain of events leading to a failure.
• Be able to create, compose and share knowledge across the QA team.
• Communicate - Talk to Engineers and Ops daily. Work with development teams to reproduce and resolve problems.

• Active participation in Agile Scrum sprint testing, regression testing, demonstration and solution releases.

Required Qualifications:

• Experience in clarifying feature requirements with developers and product owners in avery dynamic and fast paced environment
• Experience in software development methodologies and quality processes
• Good understanding of relational database design and transactional SQL and DBMS(Postgres, Vertica, Redshift)
• Experience in Jira, Agile methodology 
• Be active and willing to learn new technologies
• Logical thinking, analytical, think outside the box 
• Problem solving and time management
• Fresher is welcomed to apply

Advanced skills:

• Experience in testing web application, automation testing, API Testing, writing PostMan script, settting up and configurating SQL server is a plus
• Experience with (at least one of them) Java, Selenium, Arquillian Graphene Test, TestCafe, Cypress
• Experience with CI/CD Jenkins, Docker containers, Splunk, GIT and Linux Systems
• Experience working on multitasking, prioritizing and being able to work under pressure or independently
• Know how to make decisions, explain, present and communicate skills
• Good English skills in reading, writing and speaking
