Senior Full-stack PHP Developer

• We are currently running our application as a hybrid of existing Code Igniter and Laravel/React Applications.
• The core focus will be on the completion of migration activities of the legacy application, the legacy application is written in Code Igniter, JQuery, and Bootstrap, the legacy application will be used as reference only, no code from the legacy application should/will be directly migrated into the new system
• An existing body of work in Laravel/React already exists which contains a number of components that will aid in your work.
• A Style guide is under development and will continue to evolve over the coming months, you will be expected to follow and contribute to the style guide where appropriate.
• We function in an agile environment with Daily standups and Sprint planning sessions run on a fortnightly basis; you will be expected to participate and contribute to both.

Must have:

• 3+ years of experience working with PHP (Laravel)
• At least 2+ years of experience working with Frontend (ReactJS)
• Fluent in using English
• High interest in working and getting up-to-date with leading-edge technologies.
• Good knowledge of software and application development methodologies.
• Great eye for details.
• Ability to think with the client.
• Proactive and not afraid of challenges.

Nice to have:

• Critical skills React.js, Node.js, Rest/API best practices.
• Desirable Skills: Lambda (Node.js) function development
• Unit testing/Test-driven development
• Knowledge and understanding of best practices and design patterns
• Understanding of the full SDLC, and ability to work in an Agile team.
• Strong communication skills
