Senior Front-end Developer

Role purpose

To work with the development team as a specialist front-end developer. To work both individually and as part of a team on a variety of website projects, some of which will

be complex projects. You will work closely with the broader development and design teams to develop joint products and work to continuously improve the development standard of those

products.

Key Responsibilities

● Code front-end digital assets to design and functional specifications

● Integrate front-end assets to CMS’ and databases as required

● Create and update websites in a range of technologies, best suited to the individual project

● Perform rigorous testing

● Maintain and improve the performance of existing software

● Review current systems and present ideas for system improvements

● Together with the broader team, research, discover, try and test new technologies as they emerge

● Work directly with clients on the development of their digital assets.

● Provide accurate time estimates for development work and deliver specific results on time and in budget

● Clearly and regularly communicate with management and technical support colleagues

Required Skills

● Amazing problem-solving abilities. Can research and figure things out quickly

● Excellent written and verbal communication skills

● 5+ years experience coding with the following languages/tools;

• HTML5
• CSS/CSS3
• SASS
• JavaScript
• JQuery
• Ajax

● Experience in building websites on Wordpress and ideally HubSpot

● Experience in building responsive websites
