- Build and maintain solutions to meet our customer's business needs for their data platforms.
- Build, deliver and operate mission-critical, 24x7 production software systems
- Stay current on the technology, tools, and approaches in the BI/DW/cloud space
- Solve complex problems and develops proofs of concept to validate ideas or technologies
- Work on multiple initiatives simultaneously
- Degree educated in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of software engineering experience, with a proven track record of leading large-scale projects
- 2+ years of programming experience with Java/Scala/Python including Object-oriented design
- 1+ years of experience contributing to the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems
- Top-notch coding skills in Java/Scala/Python coupled with strong base in object-oriented design and SOA
- Well versed in DevOps and CI/CD deployments using tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub/GitLab, Jenkins, etc
- Strong proven ability in building high-performance, highly available and scalable distributed systems
- Demonstrated experience in SQL, NoSQL and data modeling skills
- Design skills to architect systems end to end, own service development, deployment, and full lifecycle of software management
- Experience with SDLC practices
- Self-starter, work independently
- Excellent communication skills
