• High writing skills in Typescript and Javascript.
• Work on an agile environment to deliver updates and features of any size at pace and scale.
• Collaborate with other Designer and software Developers on a daily basis.
• Mentor junior developers on their journey and be a buddy for new hires.
• Collaborate on the technology management to improve the Shuttlerock technology base.
• Collaborate with the team to make sure the Developer Experience (DX) is second to none.
• Write technical documentation, SOP’s and do lightning talks on new technologies.
• Help to maintain a positive, friendly, honest, and productive working environment and attitude.
• Keep an open and healthy mind

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 7 years of software development experience, or 5 years with an advanced degree.
• Experience in JavaScript, Typescript, and a third strictly typed or object-oriented language
• Experience in large-scale or high-quality web application development using state-of-the-art technologies such as Apollo GraphQL.
• Communicative verbally and in writing in English fluently.

Preferred qualifications

• A keen eye and an appreciation and interest for art & design
• Deep experience developing high-performance, accessible, and fully i18n'ed web applications and websites using preferably React and one other major Javascript technology framework.
• Experience with Ruby or interest and ability to learn other coding languages and technology as needed.
• Practical experience with cloud-native / server-less technology using JavaScript or Typescript.
• Experience with JavaScript as scripting language in other runtimes and environments, such as After Effects.
