- Planning factory daily routines. Monitoring the factory operations.
- Supervise and give guidances to Production Head relating to efficiency, productivity, via controling/reducing waste, OT, downtime.
- Maintaining high standards of the production line. Resolving any factory-related issues.
- Implementing production strategies and planning for expansion as per the requirements.
- Taking corrective action as and when required.
- Creating/enforcing quality control standards by upholding various quality systems/procedures: GMP, ISO, Lean management.
- Supervise technical department to meet customer’s expectation and demands on new product development, R&D and quality standard.
- Implementing machine maintenance operating procedures and suggesting improvements in the strategies, to ensure no production’s disruption.
- Preparing management reports and giving analytical suggestions relating to production, technical and maiternance.
- Assisting the HR department in hiring the right persons under factory function.
- Providing training to the new employees.
- Maintaining a sound relationship with clients and across functions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Management or related fields.
- Proven experience working over 10 years as a Factory Manager. Experience in factory expansion is an advantage
- Professional certification in Production Management and Quality Control.
- Sound knowledge and understanding of safety regulations and policies.
- Thorough knowledge of industry-specific factory equipment and machinery, preferably in household & personal care industry.
- Ability to multitask simultaneously.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with English at proficient level.
- Good analytical and leadership skills.
- Ability to solve complex problems.
- Exceptional ability to meet deadlines.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Good decision-making skills and logical thinking abilities.
- Good command in microsoft office and good experience in using ERP software.
- Experience in quality and efficient processes: GMP, ISO, 6 sixma or Lean Management.
- Is a mature, good team players and an experienced, well respected team leader.
