Job Summary

As Chief Accountant, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the company’s accounting team and operations, ensuring compliance with local accounting standards and tax regulations. You will work closely with the CFO and leadership team to support strategic decisions through accurate financial reporting and internal controls.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee general accounting tasks of accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes for the group in Vietnam: Supervise accounting functions in the general ledger. Closing accounting books of the Group at the month-end, year-end. Tax management regarding VAT, CIT, FCT and PIT.
• Working with tax authorities and financial auditing companies.
• Managing cashflow of the Group: Budgeting control, procurement auditing, payrolls auditing, providing payments.
• Conducting cashflow forecasts and other internal financial reporting on a regular basis
• Work closely with the Group Finance team, prepare the required info according to the corporate templates and procedures;
• Reviewing documents and templates regarding to financial scope;
• Make recommendations for changes/improvements to present methods and procedures;
• Manage subordinate employee performance, set goals, provide ongoing training, and build excellent employee connections to help them grow.

Requirements

• Bachelor or higher degree with major in accounting or finance.
• Got professional accountant | Chief Accountant certificate.
• Have over 10 years experience in Accounting Field and at least 4 - 5 years of experience at the Chief Accountant position.
• At least 1 - 2 year of experience in FinTech industry.
• Excellent skills of MS Excel.
• English skill: Intermediate
• Excellent communication skills.
• Drive and hunger to achieve results Independent, self-starter and initiative.
• Willingness to work within tight deadlines. Ability to work in a lean team, with minimum supervision.
• Positive HRM reference from the last workplace.
