Operation:

  • Manage operational planning processes to meet customer requirements.

Accountabilities:

  • Collect and analyse data, system, procedure activities & information.
  • Manage the performance of the transport team members and escalate as appropriate.
  • Manage as is vendor and support procurement to source new vendors
  • Lead the overall planning, control, status reporting, stability and delivery a project to ensure that project goals and objectives are met within agreed upon time, scope, budget and resource requirements.
  • Conducts business requirement workshops, aligns with operations and IT on the proposed solution
  • Prepares business proposals (internal approvals and customer documentation), identifies and mitigates risks (both operationally and commercially), and ensures compliance of all submissions to RHENUS business rules
  • Supports the BD team by attending sales calls to promote RHENUS’s contract logistics capabilities and influencing the customers’ decision making

Key Account management:

  • Response all requirements from customers
  • Presents solution the clients
  • Conduct and develop solution for trucking services inclusive of costing model, desired operation flow, facility design, and commercial pricing recommendation
  • Defines and agrees the scope and timing of the proposal with the client
  • Capability to map process and develop/ review SOPs.
  • Continuous improvement mindset
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good training, facilitation, coaching, and auditing skills
  • Experience in transport management and wide relationship with trucker
  • Able to identify, analyse, and manage risks; facilitating execution of mitigation and permanent action plans.
  • Good knowledge of applicable legal and other requirements related to quality, safety, health and environment management.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel to analyse data; Strong data analysis skill
  • Technical/Engineering University degree. 3-5 years of experience in Supply Chain Logistics
  • Operational knowledge and experience in distribution
  • Transport solution design knowledge and experience
