WORDPRESS INTEGRATION SPECIALIST / WEB DEVELOPER

[Work in HCMC Saigon Center Tower 2, District 1 or Remote]

Infinium Research is currently seeking to add a resourceful EXPERIENCED WordPress Integration Specialist / Web Developer to join our fast growing, cross-functional team on a part-time to full-time basis. This opportunity is best suited for an experienced developer who has more answers than questions with an eagerness to push boundaries and limits. This role is primarily responsible for the front-end development of web and mobile apps with some experience in back-end development. 

+ Be responsible for the ongoing integration and maintenance of existing WordPress-based web applications.

+ understands and interprets documented business requirements and works with business system analysts to ensure that integration solutions enhance business process and minimize any negative impacts. 

+ Be responsible for integrating third-party online payment processing solution to an existing WordPress site and ensuring that the delivered integrated solutions perform the requested tasks.

+ applies integration solutions according to the documented functional and non-functional requirements, guidelines and the integration architecture provided.

+ collaborates with software vendors and internal teams to understand the provided services and integration technologies for developing the integration solutions.

+ Be responsible for real-time market data plugin and other related plugin installation, configuration, adjustment, and setup.

+ participates in web development and modify web content on WordPress.

+ participates in testing efforts to identify and resolve system integration issues during quality assurance testing, pre-production testing, production releases and production maintenance phases.

+ conducts website performance tests and troubleshoots page issues

+ ensures website function and stability across devices i.e. desktop, mobile, tablet.

+ implements new features and functionality on the websites with regular maintenance.

Our ideal Candidate for this role is detail-oriented, excellent at time management, who can re-prioritize work as needed to ensure deadlines are met. He/She must have high level of analytical, technical, organizational skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

+ Bachelor’s degree in computer science, major in web development, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.

+ 4+ years experience in building, optimizing, and maintaining with WordPress development experience.

+ 2+ years experience in enterprise application and API integration experience.

+ 2+ years experience in software testing and troubleshooting

+ 2+ years of experience in web-based application development experience.

+ Strong understanding of Web Architecture & web standards.

+ Experienced in REST API Integration and Payment Gateways API.

+ Experienced in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Node JS/PHP.

+ Experienced in Theme and Plugin Installation, Configuration, Adjustment, and Setup.

+ Understanding of network and messaging protocols: HTTP, SMTP, SOAP.

+ Knowledge of web services and architecture patterns: REST, API, RPC.

+ Knowledge of data-interchange formats, markup and description languages: JSON, HTML, XML.

+ Experienced in e-commerce platforms integration for client sites.

+ Experienced/consistent performance in a deadline-oriented environment due to tight time restraints and volume of work.

+ Taking pride and ownership of everything you are assigned, seeing all tasks through to completion. Self-motivated and demonstrates initiative.

+ Ability to work both individually and collaboratively with a team of developers, designers, project managers and vendors.

+ Passion for learning new technologies and a desire to stay up to date with industry trends and best practices.

+ Ability to research emerging trends/best practices and present implications of proposed solutions.

+ Strong communication skills with the ability to speak clearly and persuasively.

+ Effective written and spoken communication in English.

+ Knowledge in blockchain/cryptocurrency technology and development

+ Experience in building custom WordPress theme/plugins that are database driven

+ Understanding of WordPress coding and security best practices

+ Understanding of Domain and Hosting Configuration

+ Experience in SEO, crawling, indexing and Performance/Speed Optimization

+ Ability to monitor, advance the technical elements of all websites
