As we continue rapidly growing we’re now on the hunt for talented, enthusiastic team members to join us.

We’re looking for a Vendor Quality Lead to build out our quality framework and standards. As an expert in (furniture knowledge) you will take ownership of conducting quality audits of new vendors, developing quality standards, and providing support for escalated issues.

Lead training with the office in Vietnam on test standards, quality requirements, process changes etc, as evolve and mature our quality program.

What You'll Do

- Provide technical support to sourcing and product development teams when structural issues or quality issues are identified on samples or on launched products.

- Visit vendors as required to review samples, assess production capabilities and quality systems.

- Based on product issue trends, work on projects with relevant stakeholders to stop customer inquiries from occurring in the first place.

- Conduct analysis on quality issues and testing failures to identify and implement preventative measures including but not limited to assessing testing standards and minimum standard requirements.

- Continue the development of Article quality standards for all products to ensure consistency of quality across products and vendors.

- Support the continued refinement of processes and criteria for inspections and factory audits.

- Develop testing protocols for new product types.

- Monitor and evaluate quality processes in the field, and identify opportunities for improvement.

- Develop training materials for in-person, and online training, and update documentation when standards or requirements change.

- Lead training with the office in Vietnam on test standards, quality requirements, process changes etc.

- Update quality framework documentation as required when standards change.

- Conduct factory quality audits to evaluate quality management systems and production capabilities of new vendors.

- Excellent written and verbal English skills.

- Minimum 5 years experience in the furniture industry. Experience with different types of furniture preferred (indoor, outdoor, decor).

- Previous experience working in a testing lab an asset.

- Excellent problem-solving skills.

- Experience with training.

- Ability to work autonomously with limited supervision/ direction using your best judgment and initiative.

- Able to transfer knowledge and train others on technical skills.

- Experience auditing and qualifying vendors.
