Server Engineer (GCP)

• Collaborate with other engineers to design and implement server architecture
• Design and implement server-side components in support of gameplay features
• Architect systems for performance, stability, scalability, and error-free operation
• Coordinate with client engineers on gameplay simulation and network efficiency
• Design and deliver code that is robust, extensible, flexible and simple to use

Requirement

• 3+ years of experience in cloud-native development, with at least 3 years focused specifically on the GCP ecosystem
• Proven ability to architect systems handling 1,000+ Queries Per Second (QPS) with sub-100ms latency
• Experience managing data persistence for products with 1M+ MAU
• Deep knowledge of Gang of Four (GoF) design patterns and their practical application in scalable backend environments
• Expertise in API design and contract definition using REST
• Experience integrating security by design, including authentication/authorization protocols (OAuth 2.0, JWT) and anti-cheat data validation
• Mastery of statically typed languages (e.g., Go/C#/Java) with a focus on thread-safe, non-blocking concurrency
• Strong command of foundational database engineering, encompassing both relational and high-speed in-memory/NoSQL datastores
• A rigorous habit of writing testable code and implementing industry-standard unit/integration testing frameworks
• Love playing RPG game and passion for game development.
• Ability to communicate effectively with designers and client engineers
