Senior Marketing Executive

• We are looking for an ambitious and self-driven Marketing Manager (MM) to join our team in a very ‘hands-on’ role! The MM is responsible for leading the planning, development and execution of all our marketing and advertising initiatives across our dynamic and challenging market. Reporting directly to the CEO your primary responsibility is to generate revenue by increasing sales through successful marketing for the entire organization, using market research, marketing communications, advertising and public relations - you will be crucial for our growth and success.
• You will also take on a leading role in sales management, new business development and customer service, ensuring our message is distributed across channels and to target audiences in order to meet sales objectives – this means seeking out new ways to deliver messages to our demanding customers.

MM Responsibilities:

• Planning, implementing and overseeing all marketing and advertising strategy.
• Growing and developing the in-house marketing team including hiring & structuring.
• Building a network of reliable external agencies and marketing professionals.
• Conducting market research and staying abreast of competitor positioning.
• Contributing to new business development initiatives.
• Budget planning, creation & management.
• Oversees the company’s media relations including social media and all methods of advertising
• Supervises the company’s market research, community relations and customer service.
• Handles all printed promotions/content like brochures and electronic promotions like websites.
• Demonstrates a continual track record of success from month to month and year to year.
• Drives daily execution and enhancement of the company’s overall marketing strategy.
• Analyzes the competition and reviews results of market research adjusting the company’s marketing strategy accordingly.
• Track KPIs on a regular basis and present reports to the management team.
• Obtains customer feedback regarding products and services and funnel the information to the appropriate departments so that adjustments can be made in product and service offerings.
• Participates in research to look for new product ideas and ways to grow business.
• Communicates with industry experts and leverage their knowledge for the company’s benefit.
• Handles corporate communications to deliver a brand-consistent message.
• Develops new business relationships and strengthen existing ones.
• Heightens awareness of the company in the community and marketplace.

• Minimum 6+ years of relevant work experience - previous experience in a start-up valued highly.
• In-depth knowledge of marketing principles.
• Understands changing market dynamics and prepares the company by developing and implementing strategies to meet the changes in the marketplace.
• Outstanding organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills and strong communication and presentation skills.
• Problem-solving mindset.
• Experience in sales management, marketing, and business development.
• At least Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, journalism, business or a related field. (Masters Preferred)
• You are comfortable with numbers - analytical, data-driven and detail-oriented.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced and high-growth environment.
• Flexible – can handle the ambiguity of working in a fast-paced company.
