Job Description
- Coordinating and monitoring operations from manufacturing steps to customers.
- Verifying destinations, routes, delivery time, documentation and dispatching to carriers to minimize the costs.
- Working directly with carriers and customers to archive profitable deals and mutual satisfaction.
- Dealing with operations problems arising during transporting process.
- Arranging booking for delivery, planning and following the shipment to ensure on time and appropriate delivery performance.
- Preparing accurate daily report for customers.
- Processing schedule, spreadsheets as well as documentation for transport continuously and following up on shipments to ensure no problem arise.
- Handling Contract, Debit note and quotation for transportation.
- Fluent in Japanese (N2) and intermediate in English.
- Have 1 - 2 years of experience in logistics procurement, supply chain management field.
- Knowledge of domestic trucking, container transportation and warehousing
- Excellent in communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to keep organized records of important information
- Active, problem-solving mindset.
